I come from a big family that immigrated from Laos—a small landlocked country in Southeast Asia—to the south of France. I grew up with my mom, two sisters and our cute chubby cat in the small town of Juvignac. I then moved to the US around the age of 14, in a city not far from D.C. called Woodbridge, VA.

I grew interested in programming throughout high school and enjoyed my first coding classes in college but I have always had a soft side for art, whether it be drawing, calligraphy or photography. As I grew older, I realized I also enjoyed solving problems I run into—big or small, which took me to a path of becoming a UI/UX designer.

• I love spending time with my husband and two beautiful kids.
